New Zealand Skilled migration program offers skilled people with relavant qualification and experience to migrate New Zealand to fill the skilled shortages roles identified by the New Zealand Land governement.
Basic Requirements :
Age : You must be under 56 years of age when you apply.
English language : You should have sufficient ability in the English language to work in New Zealand, you might need to take the IELTS test.
Qualifications : You must have relevant qualifications and your skills will be assessed on their standard of qualifications in comparison to New Zealand qualifications.
Recent work experience : The period of work experience required will vary depending on the number of points you may be granted for your nominated occupation.
Employment : Employment is a critical part of New Zealand Skilled Migrant visa application. Applicants will have a better chance of qualifying for the Skilled Migrant visa category if they have a job offer from a New Zealand employer.
Identified future growth area, identified cluster, area of absolute skills shortage : Bonus points can be allocated for applicants who have either a job offer in New Zealand in an area one of above areas, and / or work experience in one of the skills shortage fields.
Partner :Points may be allocated to an applicant whose partner has either an offer of employment in New Zealand, and/or a relevant qualification.
Region : Additional points may be allocated for an applicant who has a job offer outside of Auckland.
Family : Applicants can also be awarded points for having a close family member who is a permanent resident or citizen of New Zealand.
