Patna Museum
Patna city museum is one of the main tourist attractions in Patna and is also called Jadu Ghar. The museum houses a wide collection of stone and bronze sculptures and terracotta figures of Hindu and Buddhist artists belonging to the ancient and medieval phase of Indian history. The most prized collection of this museum is Didarganj Yakshi.
Patna Planetarium
It is one of the most indispensable things to watch in Patna and is also the largest Planetarium in Asia. Each year it is frequented by innumerable domestic as well as foreign tourists. Regular film shows are conducted on the subjects relating to astronomy and exhibitions are also conducted here.
Hanuman Mandir
The favourite Deity of the Patnaite. It is situated right in front of the Patna Junction, the central railway station of the City. Long winding queues can be seen at the temple on saturdays and tuesdays, the traditional worshipping days of the deity.
Harmandirji
The shrine was built to consecrate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru (prophet). Many Sikh scriptures and the personal belongings of the prophet are preserved in this dome-shaped structure.
Qila House
Jalan museum or Qila House is situated at the old site of Sher Shah's fort.It has an excellent collection of jade, Chinese paintings, Mughal glass and silver filigree carvings. It contains an impressive private collection of antiques, including a dinner service that one belongs to Georgwe III.The museum has private collection so it can be visited only with prior permission
Kumhrar
This is an important place among the Patna tourist attractions and is known for impressive artifacts and ruins dating back to the Mauryan times that have been unearthed here. The ruins found here include a huge pillared assembly hall, a Buddhist monastery, parts of Anand Bihar, clay figures and wooden beams
Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park
Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park was established in 1969 as a Botanical Garden, this park has been developed as Biological Park since 1973. The park is classified as one of the 16 large zoos in the country. The park has more than 300 species of trees, herbs and shrubs. The zoo has more than 70 species of animals. There are more than 800 animals in the zoo. This park also has an Aquarium and a Snake House.
