Bhakra dam is Situated at Naina Devi Sub-Tehsil, Bhakra Dam is the highest straight gravity dam in the world. It is one of the important place to visit at Bilaspur.
Ratanpur Fort is situated at the distance of 25 km from Bilaspur. This fort is counted among one of the significant places of tourist importance. This is an old fort whose exact date of construction is yet in mystery, and there is no historical evidence about the construction.
Bahadurpur fort is Situated at 40 km from Bilaspur, this fort is perched on top of a hill known as Bahadurpur, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the surroundings. Several deodar and banyan trees are situated in this region.
Markandeya Ji Temple is situated in a beautiful place known as Markanday, situated 20 km from Bilaspur. This templewas named after the famous sage Rishi Markanday, this temple holds much significance, especially amongst childless couples.
This temple near the bus stand in the present Bilaspur town was built to compensate for the temple in old Bilaspur town, which was submerged in the Gobind Sagar Lake. It was built in Shikhar style and houses the Linga of Shankeshwar (Lord Shiva) and idols of deities such as Lord Laxmi Narayan, Lord Rangnath, Goddess Durga and Baba Bengali.
