Ibrahim Lodi was the Sultan of Delhi in 1526. He was defeated in a battle with Babar and killed. His tomb was constructed at this place. The tomb is a rectangular block made of Lakhori bricks, place on a high platform that can be accessed by a flight of steps. The British renovated the tomb and installed an inscription stating the defeat of Ibrahim Lodhi.
Kabuli Shah Mosque is 2 kms from the centre of the town. Named after his wife Kabuli Begum, this mosque has been built by Emperor Babar to celebrate the victory of the defeat of Ibrahim Lodi. It is named after his wife Kabuli Begum. After six years, the Emperor erected a platform called Chabutara Fateh Mubarak around the mosque. The mosque is bordered by chambers on two sides with a Persian inscription along the parapet.
Holi mohalla is an interesting domain for Jains and the believers of Sufi saints. There are many Hindu temples here and a shrine is also present here, dedicated to the Muslim saint Abu Ali Kalandar. It is believed that Abu Ali was successful in getting rid of flies from Panipat. Later, the people complained and hence, he brought them back multiplied by thousands.
