One of the important fort in palampur is kangra fort. It was built about 1000 years ago which is sided by te rivers banganga and manjhi. The fort is enclosed by high ramparts and its walls have a circumference of 4 kms.. Its various gates, shrines end remains of the old palaces are noteworthy.
Neugal Khad is a beautiful picnic spot, situated 2 km from Palampur. This 300 m wide chasm, through which the Bundla stream flows, commands a fine view of the Dhauladhar range. It is also known as Bundla Chasm.
A tribute to Kangra artists, Andretta village is among the most largely visited excursions from Palampur. The village is home to exquisite handicrafts produced by the local artists and attracts tourists in large numbers from different parts of the world.
