Raja Dinakar Kelkar Museum
Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum is housed in a quaint Rajasthani-style building. It holds a one-man collection of the most fascinating Indian artifacts. Thirty-six sections of this museum are used to display a plethora of antiques, carved palace doors, pottery, a priceless collection of lamps and musical instruments of the Mughal and Maratha periods.The museum is divided into 36 sections that include carved palace and temple doors, exquisite pottery works, traditional Indian lamps and paintings belonging to 17th century.
Sinhagad Fort
One of the great forts of Maharashtra is based in Pune. This is the place where brave soldiers fought for the fort. Tanaji, one of the trusted soldiers of Shivaji Maharaj sacrificed his son's wedding to win the fort.
Phule Mandai
Phule Mandai, the old central market, named after the great social reformer Mahatma Jatiba Phule. It consists of a large octagonal central tower with Gothic features and arms radiating from it.
Agakhan palace
A major tourist attraction in Pune is the Agakhan Palace. The claim to renown of the Agakhan Palace is the fact that the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi along with his wife Karturba Gandhi and Mahadeobhai Desai were jailed here in the year 1942, while participating in the "Quit India Movement".
Empress Garden
Empress Garden is situated to the north of St Patrick's Cathedral. The area with a excellent collection of tropical trees and a small zoo is a must visit in Pune.
