Chandi Temple
Chandi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple is highly revered by devotees and people visiting the city make sure to offer their prayers here. It's magnificently carved interiors and gateways stand as a testimony to the architectural ability of the previous times.
Qadam-I-Rasool
The Qadam-i-Rasool Mosque has a peculiar element, that it is equally sacred for both, the Hindu and Muslim community. It was constructed by a Hindu ruler for the Muslim community in his regime during 18th century AD. There are three mosques within. The central one contains a stone with the footprints of Prophet Mohammed.
Barabati Fort
Barabati Fort was built in the 14th century by the Ganga Dynasty. The fort in Barabati is located at the edge of a delta, which was formed by the Mahanadi River. It is situated at a distance of 8 km from the central region of Cuttack. The fort covers a total land area of 102 acres.
Cuttack Stone Revetments
Cuttack Stone Revetments are built on the banks of river Mahanadi. These were built in the 11th century by King Marakata Keshari to provide as a protective shield during the time of the floods. The stone revetments of Cuttack are a marvelous specimen of design and architecture and thus, a must see tourist spot in Cuttack, as they display the ingenuity of the people in those times.
