The highest point in Mussoorie, Lal Tibba gives you splendid view of the landscape around. Located in Landour, it is the oldest inhabited area of the place. Old British architectures adorn the place and impart it an antique charm. From here, one can have clear views of the snow capped Himalayan peaks and places like Badrinath and Kedarnath dotting the horizon.
The name is Camel's Back Point, because of a life size rock here actually resembling a camel. You can see this rock from the Mussoorie Public school. The road starts from Rink in Kurli bazaar and goes up to Library Bazaar, a 3 kilometer long stretch. Taking a pony ride here is a memorable experience. The place is also famous for the sunset view from here in the Himalayas. Many a couples and foreigners come here for taking a break from the crowd at mall.
Mussoorie Lake beautiful picnic spot developed by the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority on the Dehradun-Mussoorie Road. Lying at about 6 km from Mussoorie, this lake is very popular among the tourist attractions in Mussoorie, and peddled boats are available here to explore the lake.
Kempty water falls is an spectacular waterfall boasts of being the biggest in town and gushes down from an altitude of nearly 4500 ft, which is situated at 15 km from the city. It is an important point to visit the site to enjoy its beautiful surroundings or to take a cool plunge in the fall.
Gun hill is the second highest peak in Mussoorie. The Himalayan ranges namely Gangotri, Srikantha, Bunderpunch and Pithwara look mesmerizing from atop this peak. All major tour packages of Mussoorie include this tourist site, mainly because of its memorable 400 meters ropeway ride.
