Swarga Ashram
Swarga Ashram is one of the important to visit at rishikesh. Swarag Ashram is a huge complex in Rishikesh, popular for housing several temples within its precincts. Throughout the complex, you can see magnificent statues of various Gods and Goddess. The ashram also comprises of a number of eating joints, apart from souvenir and other shops.
Kailash Niketan Temple
One of the main temples in Rishikesh is the Kailash Niketan Temple. It is a 13 storey structure slightly different from regular temples. The temple has sculptures of all the gods and goddesses.
Trivani ghat
Trivani ghat is situated on the bank of river Ganga; hundreds of people come here every day to take a dip in the holy river. The gentle murmur of the river is very fascinating. In the evening you will find thousands to people sitting on the bank to watch the religious function called "Arati" conducted during evening every day.
Lakshmal Jhula and Ram Jhula
Lakshmal Jhula and Ram Jhula is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Rishikesh. Legend has it that Laxman had crossed the river Ganges in this place jute ropes. Now a suspended iron bridge, built in 1939 exists here. Another suspended bridge between Shivanand Ashram and Sawarg Ashram is called Ram Jhula.
Rishikund
Rishikund is located adjacent to Triveni Ghat and is one of the most significant among the tourist attractions in Rishikesh. According to the legend, this pond was saturated by Goddess Yamuna and it mirrors the temple of Ragunath, which is devoted to lord Rama and his wife.
