Gulab Bari
Gulab Bari or Golap Bari (Rose Garden) in Faizabad is a beautiful rose garden which has been neatly maintained and cultivated. The garden spread across the entire zone that houses the tombs of Shuja-ud-daulah, the 3rd Nawab of Awadh and his parents. The Gulab Bari was established in the year 1775. The roses have been meticulously planted and grown and the magical spread which they present to the visitors is to be seen to be believed.
The Chakra Harji Vishnu Temple

The Fort of Calcutta
The Fort Calcutta was constructed by Shuja-ud-Daula after he was defeated in the war at Buxar in 1764 by the British. The monuments display that the ruler had not lost any hold over his area and was only defeated, not destroyed. The Nawab and his wife resided inside the fort till their death. The Fort walls are made out local clay and impart a peculiar look to the monument. The Fort itself displays an architectural inclination towards the Mughal style of construction.
